Building Specifications

All building components manufactured by Shelter Industries ("Shelter") are built and installed to meet or exceed ISO 9001 Quality Standards and all other building code regulations.

Also, Shelter is certified to CSA "A-277" standards to manufacture modular homes for use in Canada and offers a 12-month warranty to guarantee that buildings are free of defects in material and workmanship. Shelter therefore is exempt from the B. C. Government mandated warranty program of "New Home Warranty" even though it is licensed with the British Columbia Homeowner Protection Office as a residential builder. This third party New Home Warranty can therefore be provided as an option. It includes: 2 years on labour and materials; 5 years on the building envelope; and, 10 years on the structure of the home.
